What’s Worth Watching: Knockout Rounds Begin on The Voice

The Voice (Monday, March 30, 8/7c, NBC)
As anyone who has ever followed a singing competition knows, it is all about the song choice. And not sucking. Tonight, the remaining finalists will see-slash-hear that more than ever when they finally get to choose the tunes they will get to perform individually. No blaming the mentor, or an unfair Battle Round pairing, or even a pointless theme-night hook (yeah, that was aimed at you, Idol. They need to go!) Nope, now it’s all up to the members of Teams Blake et al to select and then absolutely crush a song worthy of not just downloading from iTunes later tonight, but also a spot in the live playoff rounds coming their way. Best of luck singers. And remember, our votes don’t come easy so bring it when ya sing it!
