CBS Renews ‘Scorpion ‘, ‘Elementary’ and Nine Other Shows
Today, CBS announced a boatload of renewals—11 to be exact, joining NCIS and The Big Bang Theory on the list of the Eye network’s returning shows.
A few of the shows being renewed today, like Elementary and 2 Broke Girls, were bubble shows due to declining ratings. But it seems that CBS has enough faith in them, and veteran reality shows like Survivor (back for seasons 33 and 34) and The Amazing Race (back for its 29th and 30th seasons), to bring them all back.
No news yet on whether fall premieres Limitless, Life in Pieces, Supergirl have been renewed, though all three have logged steady ratings since their premieres. The new spring series Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders and its original, Criminal Minds, are still up in the air also.
The list of renewed shows include:
- Blue Bloods
- Elementary
- Hawaii Five-0
- Madam Secretary
- Mom
- NCIS: Los Angeles
- NCIS: New Orleans
- Scorpion
- 2 Broke Girls
- Survivor
- The Amazing Race
