‘Pitch’ Recruits Rita Wilson and Lyndsy Fonseca

Pitch’s Ginny Baker (Kylie Bunbury) is getting a bit of help off the field.

The Fox series about the (fictional) first female Major League Baseball player has added Rita Wilson and Nikita’s Lyndsy Fonseca for guest spots in the new drama’s sixth episode, TV Insider has learned.

Wilson will play Andrea, a specialized psychiatrist who is hired by Ginny’s team, the San Diego Padres, to meet with the young pitcher. Fonseca will play Cara, a waitress who shows Ginny “how normal people her age live.”

Pitch also stars Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Ali Larter, Mark Consuelos, Mo McRae, Meagan Holder,  Tim Jo and Dan Lauria.
