Second City album Todd Stashwick has made a healthy career out of guest and recurring roles on various television series, as well as occasional film work. Raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Stashwick had a childhood dream to join the prestigious Second City improvisational comedy troupe; soon after graduating from Illinois State University, he spent a period of time in one of the group's touring casts before moving to New York City and founding the underground improv troupe Burn Manhattan with actress and director Shira Piven. After losing out on a spot in the cast of "Saturday Night Live" in 1995 (the same year that Piven's husband, future big-name comedy director Adam McKay, joined the show's writing staff), Stashwick made the move to Los Angeles and began working regularly as a guest actor on television.

After nearly a decade's worth of single-episode guest shots, he began recurring roles on shows like the 1960s period piece "American Dreams" and the blue-collar family comedy "The War at Home." Supporting roles in films like the Owen Wilson third-wheel comedy "You, Me, and Dupree" followed, along with Stashwick's highest-profile television roles, as the duplicitous Irish rover Dale Malloy in the cagey cable drama "The Riches" and as NBC president Sandy Goodman, instigator of the faux "Seinfeld" reunion on Larry David's showbiz satire "Curb Your Enthusiasm."
