‘Man With a Plan’: Liza Snyder on Matt LeBlanc’s Return to Network TV

We get it: Matt LeBlanc’s return to network comedy on CBS’s Man With a Plan is a big deal. But we also know that behind every great Man, there’s an even greater woman. And in LeBlanc’s case, it’s Yes, Dear vet Liza Snyder (above, with LeBlanc).

The pair play longtime marrieds Adam and Andi Burns, who’ve recently decided to make a major life change: After years of staying home raising their three kids, Andi rejoins the workforce as a lab technician—leaving Adam, who runs his own contracting business, in charge of the cooking, cleaning and child-rearing. The result is sitcom fodder, but with a bit of a twist.

“The great thing—and the refreshing thing—about Adam and Andi is that, even when they disagree or argue, it’s clear that they really still like each other. They’re solid,” Snyder says. “She fully believes he’s up for this challenge. She’s behind him absolutely.”
