‘Better Call Saul’ Sets Final Season Premiere as AMC Unveils First Look (PHOTOS)
The beginning of the end is near as AMC sets the premiere date for the sixth and final season of Better Call Saul.
Set to launch Monday, April 18 with two back-to-back episodes, the latest chapter of the Sony Pictures Television production will include 13 installments rolling out in two parts. The first seven episodes will run starting in April and the remaining six installments will arrive beginning on Monday, July 11.
The final season follows Jimmy McGill’s (Bob Odenkirk) final transformation into criminal lawyer Saul Goodman. From the courthouse to the cartel and Albuquerque to Omaha, Season 6 tracks Jimmy, Saul, and Gene along with Jimmy’s relationship with Kim (Rhea Seehorn) who is dealing with her own existential crisis.

Meanwhile, Mike (Jonathan Banks), Gus (Giancarlo Esposito), Nacho (Michael Mando), and Lalo (Tony Dalton) find themselves locked into a game of cat and mouse that could have fatal consequences.
“In my eyes, this is our most ambitious, surprising, and, yes, heartbreaking season. Even under incredibly challenging circumstances, the whole Saul team — writers, cast, producers, directors, and crew — have outdone themselves. I couldn’t be more excited to share what we’ve accomplished together,” said Better Call Saul‘s showrunner and executive producer, Peter Gould following the announcement.
Along with the premiere date for Better Call Saul, AMC also unveiled that three short-form series connected to the world will also debut this spring. Slippin’ Jimmy, Cooper’s Bar, and Better Call Saul Employee Training Video series are among the titles. Slippin’ Jimmy is an animated six-part series about Jimmy’s adventures growing up in Chicago. Cooper’s Bar stars Seehorn and follows the stories of regulars at a local LA bar. Meanwhile, catch fan-favorites from Better Call Saul in new episodes of the Employee Training Video series this summer.
