‘The Boys’: Billy Butcher Takes the Spotlight in Season 3 First Look (PHOTO)
The Boys are almost back as Prime Video teases Season 3 with a newly-released piece of key art featuring Karl Urban‘s Billy Butcher.
The black-and-white poster features a close-up shot of Butcher with illuminated eyes, and the social media caption teases, “Soon, it’ll be time to level the playing field.” What this could mean remains to be confirmed, but if we didn’t know any better, it could be hinting at some Billy Butcher and Compound V crossover?!

While his glowing eyes aren’t Compound V’s signature blue, there’s golden fire lit within his glance that makes us eager to see what’s in store. As previously announced, Season 3 of the hit series is expected to arrive on Friday, June 3, just in time for a perfect summer binge.
Billy Butcher is the leader of the show’s titular group of vigilantes who fight to keep the world’s superheroes in check, primarily the group known as The Seven. Popular and influential like celebrities and politicians, the Supes under conglomerate Vought have more than a few dirty secrets that Billy and his crew are constantly working to uncover.
Along with Urban, Season 2 features the return of stars Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Nathan Mitchell, Colby Minifie, and Claudia Doumit. Plus, get ready for the arrival of Jensen Ackles who steps into the role of the original Supe, Soldier Boy in Season 3.
