NBC to Air Adele Concert Special Filmed at The London Palladium
Adele is returning to television screens for a two-hour concert special filmed at the London Palladium, set to air on NBC on March 20.
The two-hour spectacular, titled An Audience with Adele, sees the multi-time Grammy-winner performing some of her biggest hits, including “Someone Like You” and “Hello,” in addition to tracks from her most recent album, 30. The special already aired in the U.K. this past November.
Audience members will have the opportunity to ask questions to the “Rolling In The Deep” hitmaker in between songs. It is also a star-studded affair with various celebrities in attendance, including Luther star Idris Elba, Academy Award-winning Emma Thompson, and Ted Lasso actress Hannah Waddingham.
The special is produced by production company Fulwell 73, with Adele herself serving as executive producer, along with Jonathan Dickins, Ben Winston, and Sally Wood.
It marks the second Adele television concert in recent months, as the British singer recently headlined the Adele: One Night Only show, which was filmed at the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles and aired on CBS last November.
The concert comes after Adele’s triumphant night at the 2022 Brit Awards, where she picked up trophies for Artist of the Year, Mastercard Album of the Year, and Song of the Year for her hit single “Easy On Me.”
“I’m very proud of myself for sticking to my guns and putting out an album that is about something so personal to me because not many people do stuff like that anymore,” the singer said after collecting the award for Album of the Year.
An Audience with Adele, Premieres, March 20, 9 p.m. ET/PT, NBC and Peacock
