‘Shark Tank’s Mark Cuban Invests in ‘Home Economics’ in Sneak Peek (VIDEO)
Once again, Mark Cuban is putting his money to good use.
After establishing an online pharmacy service dedicated to helping people access affordable medications, the Shark Tank player is now buying into one of TV’s best comedies. In this exclusive first-look promo, which will run during the March 25 episode of Tank, the entrepreneur and his fellow sharks field a pitch from Topher Grace, Karla Souza, Sasheer Zamata, Caitlin McGee, and Jimmy Tatro for a guest spot on Home Economics.
Of course, there is some green-screen magic happening, but the actual deal has been sealed: Cuban is slated to appear on the April 6 episode of Economics. During our recent chat with Grace, he explained that he is a “huge, huge Shark Tank fan,” having seen “every single episode,” so it was a major thrill for the executive producer to have Cuban on set.

In the episode, “Poker Game, $800 Buy-In,” Grace’s Tom and McGee’s Sarah crash a poker night that high-roller baby brother Connor (Tatro) is hosting for some rich and famous friends, including Cuban (playing himself). No word on whether Kevin O’Leary will try to swing an invite, but if the Hayworths were smart, they’d be trying to convince Lori Greiner to sell Tom’s upcoming novel on QVC.
Home Economics, Wednesdays, 9:30/8:30c, ABC
