‘DuckTales’ Reboot Cast Revealed (VIDEO)

DUCKTALES - Disney's "DuckTales," an all-new animated comedy series based on the Emmy Award-winning series, will again star Disney's enduringly popular characters: Scrooge McDuck, his grandnephews Huey, Dewey and Louie, and Donald Duck. Scrooge McDuck and family are banking on a stellar cast, not just ’80s kid nostalgia, when DuckTales returns to TV in the summer of 2017. Disney XD announced Friday the flock of high-profile actors and comedians who will lend their voices to the reboot of the Emmy-winning cartoon franchise.

David Tennant (Doctor Who, Jessica Jones) leads the cast as Scrooge, while the triplets Huey, Dewey and Louie are voiced by Danny Pudi (Community), Ben Schwartz (Parks and Recreation) and Bobby Moynihan (Saturday Night Live), respectively. Rounding out the main cast are Beck Bennett (SNL) as strong-jawed pilot Launchpad McQuack, Toks Olagundoye (Castle) as Mrs. Beakley and Kate Micucci (Steven Universe) as Webby Vanderquack.

The network revealed the cast by releasing a video of the actors singing the show’s classic theme song. Watch the clip below:
