The Ryan Murphy train continues to stay on track! With 15 Emmy awards already and bragging rights for American Horror Story: Roanoke being 2016’s #1 limited or mini-series on cable for adults 19-34, it makes perfect sense that FX wants more of the American Horror Story anthology series.

It was announced today at the Television Critics Association winter press tour that FX had picked up two more seasons of AHS, in addition to the previously announced seventh season.  Praising Murphy’s wild and weird series for revolutionizing the limited-series idea, FX Networks and FX Productions CEO John Landgraf said that we was “thrilled that Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and the entire creative team will continue to deliver the groundbreaking, celebrated American Horror Story for years to come.”

Of course, there is no word on what the themes of any of the upcoming seasons will be, but if Murphy and the network stick to their crafty promotional teases, we are guaranteed to have a lot of fun guessing about how each story is somehow connected right up until each premiere.
