Billie Lourd Honored Late Mom Carrie Fisher at Walk of Fame Ceremony

The late Carrie Fisher was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and presented with a posthumous Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony on a very special day. The ceremony took place on May 4, known to Star Wars fans as “Star Wars Day,” citing “May the 4th be With You,” a play on the iconic quote “May the Force be With You.”

Fisher’s daughter and fellow actress Billie Lourd was there to accept the honor on her mom’s behalf and paid tribute to her mom in every detail of the day, including her dress and nails. She wore a dress with her mom’s Star Wars character Princess Leia on it and wore nail art including Star Wars references and a tiny portrait of Princess Leia.
