‘Blue Bloods’ Fans to Choose Classic Episode Lineup for Fall TV Slate — Here’s How to Vote
Calling all Blue Bloods fans! CBS is asking viewers to pull a seat up to the Reagan family dinner table for a chance to have their voices heard in the fall TV lineup.
Beginning Thursday, August 31, fans are being asked to vote for their favorite classic episodes of the police family drama as they work to select the installments that will air on Fridays this fall. Voting runs through September 8, and the classic episode re-broadcasts will kick off on Friday, September 29, as they fill the show’s usual 10/9c timeslot.
Voting is set to take place on the show’s official social channels, particularly via @CBSBlueBloods on Facebook. Fans will have the option to vote for episodes across all 13 seasons of the series, which is Friday’s number-one primetime program.
Viewers can choose from a curated list highlighting memorable character arcs, pivotal character introductions, and some of the outstanding guest stars who have appeared on the show throughout its 13-year run on network television.
Season 13 of the hit aired beginning in the fall of 2022, but amid the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, production on the series is currently at a standstill, along with several other titles across network television, cable, and streaming. For those less familiar with the beloved multigenerational drama, Blue Bloods follows the Reagan family of cops who are dedicated to New York City’s law enforcement.
Headed by patriarch Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck), he runs the police force as New York Police Commissioner and the Reagan brood, consisting of Danny (Donnie Wahlberg), Erin (Bridget Moynahan), and Jamie (Will Estes). Other stars include Len Cariou, Marisa Ramirez, and Vanessa Ray.
Blue Bloods ranks as the number-three broadcast drama with 9.40 million viewers; with live + 35-day multiplatform viewing, Blue Bloods scores more than 11 million viewers an episode. Since the show’s debut on September 24, 2010, Blue Bloods has maintained its number-one position in the 10/9c slot, leading the network’s top-rated Friday night lineup.
Despite the delay in new episodes, fans can rest assured in the show’s future as CBS renewed the cop drama for the 2023-2024 season, marking the show’s 14th year at CBS. In the meantime, vote for your favorite classic episodes until the team can get to work on Season 14.
