‘Priscilla’ & All the A24 Movies Streaming Exclusively on HBO & Max

HBO and its streaming service Max have penned a multiyear pay-1 U.S. output deal with the entertainment company A24. A24 will allow HBO and Max exclusive access to some of the hottest new movies. The two companies also extended their licensing deal to bring on older A24 movies, making over one hundred titles available for subscribers.

“Continuing our relationship with A24 to bring award-winning movies alongside recent fan favorites to subscribers adds incredible value to the HBO and Max value proposition,” said Royce Battleman, EVP of Content Acquisitions, Warner Bros. Discovery. “The diverse range of stories that come from the A24 pipeline make this partnership so impactful for our audience.”

Which new A24 movies will I be able to stream on HBO and Max?

The newer movies that will be available are Dicks: The Musical, Priscilla, Dream Scenario, The Zone of Interest, Stop Making Sense (2023), The Iron Claw, Love Lies Bleeding, and Civil War. In addition, older titles, including Everything Everywhere All at Once, Uncut Gems, The Whale, and Past Lives, will be ready to stream.

Dicks: The Musical focuses on two businessmen, played by writers Aaron Jackson & Josh Sharp, who discover they are long-lost identical twins and try to reunite their estranged parents. Think Parent Trap, but with some eccentric twists and lots of funny songs.

Priscilla is Sofia Coppola‘s take on the highly-published relationship and marriage between Elvis and Priscilla Presley, starring Cailee Spaeny and Jacob Elordi. The film hopes to tell the story from Priscilla’s point of view after the hugely successful Elvis film.

Dream Scenario stars Nicolas Cage as an ordinary man named Paul Matthews who discovers that millions of strangers are suddenly seeing him in their dreams, and he becomes a star.

The Zone of Interest is a historical drama about the commandant of Auschwitz, Rudolf Höss, and his wife Hedwig, as they try to build a dream life for their family.

Stop Making Sense is the re-release of a concert film following the Talking Heads at Hollywood’s Pantages Theater in December 1983. It has been restored for the film’s 40th anniversary.

The Iron Claw tells the true story of the Von Erich brothers, who made history in professional wrestling in the 1980s.

Love Lies Bleeding tells the love story of a gym owner and a bodybuilder, and things aren’t always easy when one has a criminal family. It will premiere in the Midnight section at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival.
