AXS TV Announces New Game Show Called ‘Cash Cab Music’
You might be familiar with the long-running game show Cash Cab, where unsuspecting passengers think they are just hailing a cab when, in reality, they are about to answer trivia questions in order to win some cold, hard cash on the way to their destination. Now, AXS TV is putting a spin on it for a new game show called Cash Cab Music, created exclusively for the network.
When will ‘Cash Cab Music’ premiere?
Cash Cab Music premieres on January 8, 2024, at 10 p.m. ET. Back-to-back new episodes will air on the 8th.

You can watch Cash Cab Music on the cable network AXS TV. It is also available through streaming services such as Philo and Sling TV. Find out here if you can get AXS TV in your home.
Who is the host of ‘Cash Cab Music?’
Comedian Adam Growe will be hosting Cash Cab Music. He hosted the Canadian version of Cash Cab. Ben Bailey was known for hosting the original series Cash Cab.
How does ‘Cash Cab Music’ work?
The show will be similar to Cash Cab, with passengers allowed to win money by answering trivia questions, which get harder the longer they play. This time, all of the questions are on the history of music. The questions will increase in value from $50 to $100, with the final round being worth $200 per question. If passengers still have money when they reach their destination, they can leave with the cash or risk it all by answering a “Cash Cab Karaoke” question. They must sing the correct answer to double their winnings or lose all their accumulated money. No word yet on whether contestants can call a friend for help or do Red Light Challenges, where they can earn extra cash like the original.
