We often write about classic TV in this space. Like well-known 1950s classics I Love Lucy and The Honeymooners to more current classics like The Sopranos or Breaking Bad from the 2000s. But the truth is, as real television fans, there is no shortage for us of great TV from every decade — especially if we define great TV as shows we love so much we want to share them with our friends and neighbors. And one of those types of shows are comedies from the ’90s! Can you get any more classic than Kelsey Grammer from Frasier? Ray Romano from Everybody Loves Raymond? Jerry Seinfeld from Seinfeld? Talk about appointment viewing! And if we’re arguing about some of the best comedies of all time, Seinfeld would be among the top honorees, along with the six friends from Friends and the Simpsons from The Simpsons. And the ’90s comedies also boasted a bevy of beloved characters: Tim Taylor from Home Improvement; Doug and Carrie from The King of Queens; Danny Tanner from Full House; Steve Urkel from Family Matters; the whole alien crew from 3rd Rock From the Sun. My personal favorite? I was certainly mad for Paul and Jamie from Mad About You. So get ready to test your knowledge and play the ’90 TV comedies crossword below.
