WWE Star John Cena to Host ‘Nickelodeon’s 2017 Kids’ Choice Awards’

WWE star and actor John Cena will trade bodyslams for green slime as host of this year’s Nickelodeon’s 2017 Kids’ Choice Awards, airing live Saturday, March 11, from Los Angeles. “Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards is the biggest party for kids, and I’m so excited and honored to host this year’s show,” said Cena. “I have a lot of big surprises in store so bring on the slime!”

Cena has been a popular pick for recent awards show hosting gigs. He presided over the 2016 ESPYs and cohosted the 2016 Teen Choice Awards with Victoria Justice.
Past Kids’ Choice Awards hosts have included Rosie O’Donnell, Jack Black, Will Smith, Dwayne Johnson, Kevin James, Nick Jonas, Mark Wahlberg, Ben Still, Justin Timberlake and Blake Shelton.
Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards airs live March 11 from Los Angeles.
