Play the TV Villains Crossword

Villains TV crossword - Sherlock, The Sopranos, The Handmaid's Tale
Everett Collection; BBC

How many times have you heard actors say, with a mischievous grin, “It’s more fun to play the bad guy!” Villains usually drive the plot, are the center of attention, can say and do anything and often have more charisma than the good guys. And we have fun watching them break all the rules! Where would Dallas be without J.R.? Dynasty without Alexis? Sherlock without Moriarty? Batman without the Joker or Catwoman? One good guess is they’d be much less interesting TV shows with far fewer viewers. “Who shot J.R.?” is probably still the most famous question ever asked about a TV character, and the episode that we all tuned in to find out is still the third most watched episode of all time. Even more current dramas pull in bigger viewer numbers and start more conversations when they center around the villains, like Negan in The Walking Dead, Cersei in Game of Thrones, Black Jack in Outlander and Aunt Lydia in The Handmaid’s Tale. Try your hand at the TV villains crossword below, if you dare.
