‘Sister Wives’: Kody & Meri’s Breakup Turns Explosive in Season 19 Trailer (VIDEO)
Sister Wives is gearing up for an explosive return filled with plenty of drama fans won’t want to miss in Season 19 of the TLC reality series.
According to the network, this season will see the Brown family face the devastating passing of Janelle and Kody‘s son, Garrison Brown. Through the heartbreaking pain though, the family navigates this tragedy to come together, mourn, and celebrate his life.
While this will be addressed in the show, the trailer, above, focuses more on the dynamic between Kody, Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn as bonds and ties shift.
As fans will recall, a lot has changed within the family over the past few years as the Browns all face new pathways forward. When it comes to Meri, she’s ready to move forward and takes her recent decision to leave Kody even one step further by appealing to their former church for an official “release” from their union, which is their version of a divorce.
Meanwhile, Janelle doesn’t need a divorce and is just moving on, and in order to do that, it means she’ll be moving away from Flagstaff, which is teased in the trailer, above. Additionally, Christine has found her soulmate in David who is shaking things up by attending family gatherings and as a result, is riling up Kody.
But that has no impact on Christine, who in less than a year went on her first date, moved in with, and married David in a wedding surrounded by family and friends in Moab, Utah. While Meri, Janelle, and Christine have gone their own ways, Kody’s fourth wife Robyn remains legally married to him and she is struggling to respect him as he navigates the complicated web the family’s fracturing has created.
Now that the Browns have left polygamy behind, Robyn and Kody face the challenges of a monogamous couple, and how to adapt to a lifestyle they never planned on living. Check out the trailer, above, and don’t miss a second of the drama as Sister Wives Season 19 unfolds on TLC this fall.
