Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune fans are in luck as it appears classic episodes have found a new home after Pluto TV removed its dedicated channels to the long-running game shows.

Earlier this month, the Jeopardy! and Wheel channels abruptly disappeared from the Paramount-owned app. This came as a shock to fans who used the app to watch old episodes, especially while the current editions of both shows are on a summer hiatus.

However, on Wednesday night (August 14), the official Jeopardy! and Wheel social media channels teased news of a new home for classic episodes.

“Hang in there, baby,” wrote the Jeopardy! X account alongside a video highlighting headlines and fan comments on the recent Pluto TV news. “We hear you,” the video stated. “Stay tuned for the latest Jeopardy! streaming news.”

The Wheel X account shared a similar post, writing, “Don’t worry, Wheel fans! We hear you loud and clear! While our episodes aren’t available to stream right now, we’ll have exciting news coming…stay tuned!”

While neither show explicitly stated where viewers would be able to watch old episodes, the news excited fans.

“I wonder if it will go on Prime? Since that is where the new Pop Culture show will be,” pondered one fan on the Jeopardy! Reddit forum, referring to the upcoming Pop Culture Jeopardy! spinoff hosted by Colin Jost.

“In my dreams, this will be all episodes (that still exist), on demand, organized by season (with playlists for specific people’s runs, tournaments, etc.),” said another.

The user added, “Maybe even with a “channel” like Pluto’s, showing a continuous stream of episodes. Current episodes (even a week late) would be frosting on the cake, but I don’t think that’s possible with syndication contracts.”

One Wheel viewer wrote, “Pat’s [Sajak] final episode was I believe the first full episode Wheel released on YouTube so I wonder if they’ll release all episodes on YouTube or selected ones. They previously had some episodes on Netflix too, so streaming isn’t a new thing for the show but it’s lacked consistency.”

“Ok. Can’t wait to hear it,” said another commenter.

Jeopardy and Wheel need an archive of every show that’s ever aired,” added another.

Another wrote, “Every episode should be available PLEASE.”

Responding to a fan’s question about why the Jeopardy! and Wheel channels disappeared from Pluto TV, the streamer wrote, “Our lineup is constantly evolving based on feedback from our users and content availability, so channels are added and removed, over time.”
