The festival will also hold its annual outdoor screening, with this year’s event showcasing Parks and Recreation, with food and activities inspired by Pawnee’s annual Harvest Festival. (The past screenings were Friday Night Lights-themed.)
Additionally, ATX Advisory Board member Glen Mazzara is putting on a panel called “The Anti Hero: History of an American Myth”; Paul Scheer will host a screening/panel dedicated to a new way of doing pilots; and Grace & Frankie co-creator Marta Kauffman will be on-hand for a panel dedicated to the Netflix series.
The 2017 ATX Television Festival will take place June 8-11 in Austin, Texas.
