‘MacGyver’ and ‘Hawaii Five-0’ Crossover Episode Set for March

How good is Hawaii Five-0’s Kono Kalakaua at turning regular objects into crime-fighting tools? We’ll find out when Grace Park, Daniel Dae Kim, and Taylor Wiley combine forces with MacGyver in a March 10 crossover episode, the network announced Friday.

In the episode, Mac and team travel to Hawaii after a devastating earthquake hits the Big Island. While there, Five-0 enlists their help in rescuing a group of government scientists trapped in a building close to collapse. Of course, things are never easy for the Five-0 crew, and their rescue efforts are hampered when a ruthless group tries to steal the top-secret weaponry the scientists were working on.

“This crossover has almost seemed inevitable since the day MacGyver premiered,” MacGyver and Hawaii Five-0 EP Peter Lenkov said in a statement. “We have always envisioned that our H50 ohana and the Phoenix team live in the same universe and it was about time that Mac and Jack had a case in Hawaii.”

The episode will be shot in  Atlanta and Oahu. MacGyver‘s Lucas Till tweeted a pic of Taylor Wiley on set.
