Lea Thompson Is Overjoyed About Becoming a Grandmother

Back to the Future star Lea Thompson is having a wonderful time in the present: she announced on Instagram that she welcomed her first grandchild, a girl named Robbie June Carlisle. Robbie is the daughter of Thompson’s daughter, Maddie Deutch, with her husband, Zach Carlisle.

Thompson, who previously starred in Caroline in the City and currently appears in the Hallmark series The Chicken Sisters, was radiating joy as she shared several photos of the newborn with the caption: “Welcome to this crazy beautiful world little girl.
