Ben Higgins has a controversial Bachelor in Paradise opinion. The former Bachelor is not about to jump on the bandwagon and hate on the idea of a mixed version of the beach-set spinoff with the younger crowd and Golden Bachelor(ette) contestants. Instead, he admitted he loves the idea on his podcast, Almost Famous, with Ashley Iaconetti.

This surprised Iaconetti, who exclaimed, “Oh, really, you’re the only one.” The 36-year-old has his reasons. He just simply has more faith in them than most. “The Goldens I know are, one, way too wise, way too fatherly and motherly and caring to ever for a chance consider that,” Higgins said when discussing whether the Golden contestants would date the 20-somethings. “I think it’s going to be a great dynamic of wisdom and honesty with the Goldens also having so much fun.”
