MeTV Announces ‘The Month of Mayberry’ Event Celebrating ‘The Andy Griffith Show’ & Spinoffs

MeTV is bringing back one of its most popular annual programming events:  “The Month of Mayberry,” a celebration all things Andy Griffith Show. From May 4-30, 2025, viewers can catch specially selected episodes of The Andy Griffith Show and its spinoffs including Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C. and Mayberry R.F.D. In addition, MeTV is showing The Andy Griffith Show Reunion: Back to Mayberry for the first time in decades. The reunion aired back in 2003, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the show, and featured interviews with stars Andy Griffith, Ron Howard, Rodney Dillard and Don Knotts reflecting on its legacy.

Fans will be transported all the way back to the beginning on May 4 at 4pm ET with The Danny Thomas Show episode “Danny Meets Andy Griffith,” the original backdoor pilot for The Andy Griffith Show, followed by the first episode of The Andy Griffith Show, “The New Housekeeper,” at 4:30pm ET. Then, throughout the rest of the month, episodes will air Monday through Friday at 8pm and 8:30pm ET; the episodes will be tied to special weekly themes.
