There’s no Say Yes to the Dress without Randy Fenoli. The bridal guru has been with the feel-good wedding series since the show’s debut in 2007. Over the years, he’s helped countless brides find the perfect wedding dress. However, he was initially hesitant about the show.

“The first day they asked me to be on the show, I said, ‘No.’ I said, ‘I don’t even watch reality TV. There’s no way I’m going to do this,’” he told Swooon. He eventually acquiesced and filmed the first season. Say Yes to the Dress became a global phenomenon after its debut, with Fenoli’s iconic line, “Are you saying yes to the dress?” becoming synonymous with brides all over the world.
