Nathan Fillion Re-Ups as a Cop With a Guest-Starring Turn on ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’

He’s not a detective, but he plays a fake one on TV. Again.

Castle alum Nathan Fillion (left, with Stephanie Beatriz and Andy Samberg) guest stars on the April 18 episode of Fox’s Brooklyn Nine-Nine as the star of a Law & Order–esque series who thinks his years of portraying a cop means he can help the squad solve a murder that went down on his show’s set. “We asked Nathan to go far outside his comfort zone and play the part of a successful television actor,” jokes executive producer Dan Goor. “Somehow, using only his imagination and a lifetime of experience, he delivered a stellar performance!”
