What’s Worth Watching: Getting Catty for the Kitten Bowl
You can hate cats. But you can’t hate kittens. And you shouldn’t miss Hallmark Channel’s second annual Kitten Bowl, which features 91 adorable furballs from various animal shelters duking it out on a miniature field. The kitties are divided into teams by their coloring—which, okay, we’ll admit is a little creepy. But how else will you be able to tell your Northpole Panthers (grey cats) from your Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Mountain Lions (tabbies)? Our MVPs are Tawny Unites, a ginger tomcat on the Hallmark Channel Hearties, and Joe Montuna, a black-and-white tuxedo on the Good Witch Wildcats. Basically, the players’ concept of “sport” is chasing tails, jumping on each other’s backs, climbing the goal post (repeatedly), and napping mid-game. There is a lot of napping. And all you have to do is sit on your couch and watch. No litter box cleaning necessary.
