‘The Rings of Power’ Trailer: Sauron Forges the One Ring Inside Mount Doom
One Ring to rule them all is made in the fires of Mount Doom in the trailer for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 3. Sauron (Charlie Vickers) has conquered nearly all of Middle-earth in the five years since the fall of Eregion, and he’s about to create the weapon that will tighten his grip on the realm.
The Rings of Power Season 3 premieres with four episodes on November 11, followed by two episodes weekly through November 25 (there are eight episodes total).
The trailer for the new season shows Galadriel (Morfydd Clark) with her long-lost husband, Celeborn (Jamie Campbell Bower), civil war in Númenor, and battles between elves and orcs as dwarves bend the knee to Sauron.
“All of it has come to this,” Galadriel says in the trailer above.

The Balrog (voiced by Simon Pegg) appears to be in a fight with Sauron, and Gandalf (Daniel Weyman) fights a Nazgnagôl, one of Sauron’s ringwraiths.
At the end, Sauron wears the One Ring while standing in front of the fires of Mount Doom. The volcano erupted at the end of Season 1 and triggered the creation of Mordor, Sauron’s realm.
All of Middle-earth fights heroically to stop the Dark Lord and his army of orcs, but his armored Ring-servants, the Nazgnagôl, threaten the realm as the elves try to hold the front lines.

Families are pulled apart in Khazad-dûm while Elendil’s (Lloyd Owen) family fights for Miriel’s (Cynthia Addai-Robinson) army in Númenor. In Rhûn, Gandlaf embraces his full powers of magic and persuasion to stop the darkness from growing.
The Rings of Power Season 3 also stars Ismael Cruz Córdova, Robert Aramayo, Benjamin Walker, Maxim Baldry, Andrew Richardson, Ema Horvath, Owain Arthur, Sophia Nomvete, Tyroe Muhafidin, and more.
Here’s the official description for The Rings of Power Season 3: “In Season 3, Middle-earth is at war. Five years have passed since the fall of Eregion. Sauron’s armies have marched across the whole of the world, conquering all in their path. Only a few isolated pockets stand between the Dark Lord and total victory — Khazad-dûm, where the Dwarves are now sealed deep within their mountain halls, and the elven realms of Lindon and Rivendell, which are protected by their Three Rings. But deep in the land of Mordor, in his newly completed tower of Barad-dür, the Dark Lord toils day and night, obsessed with harnessing a power that will bring the last of his enemies to their knees: One Ring to rule them all… Now, all the free peoples of Middle-earth — Dwarves, Elves, Men, and Wizards alike — must find a way to come together, in a race against time to prevent Sauron from achieving his goal of utter domination of all life…”
The series is created by showrunners and executive producers J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay, with executive producers Lindsey Weber, Kate Hazell, Justin Doble, and executive producer-director Charlotte Brändström. Matthew Penry-Davey is producer, and Ally O’Leary Cantrell, Tim Keene, and Andrew Lee are co-producers.
