Samantha Bee Takes on Trump’s Very Bad No Good Week

After a couple weeks off, Full Frontal with Samantha Bee returned Wednesday night just in time for International Women’s Day—and the #ADayWithoutAWoman protest. Wearing a red blazer in solidarity with the many women across America who stayed home from work to raise awareness of women’s contributions to society and the economy, the Samantha Bee raised what might be the most important question the country will have to wrestle with under the Trump Administration:

“Are we gonna have to eliminate another civil liberty every time the President is cranky and won’t go down for his nap?”

Recapping yet another whiplash-inducing week in politics under “America’s one-man white supremacist employment program,” Bee charted the trajectory from the president’s big-boy speech to Congress and the absurdly positive reception it got from the talking heads on cable news, through Attorney General Jeff Sessions’s secret meet-cutes with the Russian ambassador, to Trump’s conspiracy theory about former President Obama tapping his wires, all of which resulted in a very grumpy Trumpy who needed to be cheered up with the administration’s new and improved Muslim Ban 2.0.
