Created by Issa Rae and Larry Wilmore, the series explores the black female experience through the adventures (or misadventures) of Issa Dee and her best friend Molly (Yvonne Orji). The pair deals with the ups and downs of their careers, their love lives and everyday experiences. Sometimes dramatic and touching, the series strikes the right balance where you may find yourself wiping away a tear and then laughing hysterically. Season 2 premieres on July 23.
