For twelve years, the team on Discovery Channel’s Mythbusters has set out to test some of society’s most popular urban legends. So far this season, Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman have dug deep into pop culture and have devoted entire episodes to the technology behind Transformers, stunts used in the Indiana Jones film franchise and pranks made popular by The Simpsons. Tonight, they tackle the high-octane car chase sequences from the Fast and the Furious movies by investigating the speedy but dangerous phenomenon of drifting. Strap on your helmets, because it’s going to be a wild ride!
