What’s Worth Watching: Post-Smack Tensions Escalate on The Slap

The Slap, “Harry” (Thursday, 8/7c, NBC)
The fallout from the hit heard ’round Brooklyn begins this week as Harry (Zachary Quinto) wrestles with his anger issues after violently slapping young Hugo (Dylan Schombing) across the face. Hector (Peter Sarsgaard) arranges a visit with Hugo’s parents, Gary (Thomas Sadoski) and Rosie (Melissa George), so Harry can apologize for the incident, but a difference of opinion and parenting techniques leads to a heated and intense confrontation. Quinto especially shines in this hour as a man who recognizes the consequences of his actions and how they affect his immediate family, especially his own son.
