Camila Mendes on When That Hot ‘Riverdale’ Love Triangle Is Going to Heat Up (VIDEO)

How do you heat up a cool love triangle? We’re going to find out soon, if Riverdale star Camila Mendes has anything to say about it.

As you know, when the CW series, which is based on the iconic Archie comic books, first premiered, there was definite heat between Archie (KJ Apa), Betty (Lili Reinhart) and new girl Veronica Lodge (Mendes), and we thought much of the first season would be exploring that triangle (as well as solving Jason Lodge’s murder!).

However, all these characters have been exploring other relationships lately, but, as Mendes told TV Insider when she stopped by the Los Angeles TV Guide Magazine offices this week, things are going to heat back up sooner than you may think!

Also in the video, the actress talks Thursday’s emotional episode for Veronica, and how Ethel Muggs (Shannon Purser) plays a part in it, as well as how the cast reacted at the table read for the episode when Jason’s murderer was revealed.
