Syfy’s Summer Schedule Includes ‘Sharknado 5’, ‘Dark Matter’ and More
Sharks, tornadoes, and Ian Ziering—oh my! Syfy just announced its spring and summer schedule, and all we can say is that summer can’t come soon enough.
Along with the announcement of the date for Sharknado 5: Global Swarming, the latest installment of the popular Sharknado film series, it was also revealed that Syfy series favorites 12 Monkeys, Killjoys, Dark Matter, Wynonna Earp and Face Off will return this summer.
Syfy’s new summer series, Blood Drive, will premiere June 14. The series is grounded in the grindhouse tradition of blood and gore, and follows a man forced to join a twisted cross-country race.
The channel will also host a three-night special Live From Comic-Con featuring exclusive looks at the happenings in San Diego.
