Will Forte on What to Expect From Last Man on Earth and What He Thinks About Twitter (VIDEO)
Post-apocalyptic stories tend to emphasize the drama and horror and end-of-the-world-as-we-know-it existentialism, but Last Man on Earth finds the funny in being, well, just that.
The show, which premieres Sunday on Fox, is the brainchild of Saturday Night Live alum Will Forte, who stars as Phil Miller, an everyman who seems to be the only man left after a massive outbreak wipes out humanity.
“Everyone thinks about the being-the-last-person-on-earth scenario,” Forte says. In the video above, he tells us more about the show, his own television guilty pleasures (“The Bachelor is like candy to me”) and why he doesn’t spend much time on Twitter.
