What’s Worth Watching: Arrow Brings on a New Bad Guy

Arrow, “The Offer” (Wednesday, March 18, 8/7c, The CW)

Well, shut our mouths! The DC Comics seemingly bottomless bad-guy well has been dipped into again—and this time the powers-that-be have pulled out Murmur (Adrian Glynn McMorran), a villainous madman from The Flash comics whose mouth has been sewn shut out. But even without the ability to speak, this guy is making big noise, trust us.

Meanwhile, the show’s most emotional season to date continues to up the domestic drama factor, with a heartbreaking turn of events involving Lance (Paul Blackthorne). Having been betrayed by both Laurel and the Arrow, it may be time for the good cop to put a little distance between himself and these two reminders of everything he’s lost since Oliver Queen came into his life.
