During Wednesday’s CBS upfront presentation, held at Carnegie Hall in New York City, the network unveiled the first trailer for much-anticipated Star Trek: Discovery.

The series, which takes place ten years before the time of the original Star Trek series starring William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy, will premiere during the 2017-18 season on the CBS network before it moves exclusively to the networks streaming channel, CBS All Access.
