Exclusive: Gotham Trio Gets the Action Figure Treatment from Diamond Select Toys

Jim Gordon once declared, “Everyone has a Cobblepot.” Now that can include fans of the Fox drama: Diamond Select Toys will debut its new line of Gotham action figures at this summer’s Comic-Con International in San Diego. The collection features seven-inch versions of Ben McKenzie’s Gordon, Robin Lord Taylor’s Oswald Cobblepot/Penguin, and Camren Bicondova’s Selina Kyle/future Catwoman. All three figures come with character-specific play sets: an alleyway for Gordon, a pier for Cobblepot, and a fire escape for Kyle. “We’re doing a line with no Batman,” says Diamond Select’s president and lead product manager, Chuck Terceira. “We’ll make a Bruce Wayne, but the show’s magic is that its heroes are the civilian or villain characters who have always surrounded Batman.” We’re already waiting with bated breath for a Fish Mooney we can call our own!
