First Look: Bill Paxton Discovers His History on TLC’s Who Do You Think You Are?
Before viewers see him playing Sam Houston on History channel’s upcoming epic drama Texas Rising, Bill Paxton is digging into his own history.
On this Sunday’s edition of TLC’s Who Do You Think You Are? Paxton will be seen researching his paternal lineage. Among his findings: an ancestor who was a war hero in an historic battle, and another who was a spy during the Revolutionary War.
In the episode, he travels to Kings Mountain, S.C., where one of his ancestors, Benjamin Sharp, fought with the patriots in a battle that Thomas Jefferson once said turned the tide for the American Revolution. and struggling with the morality of actions his four times great grandfather took.
