Saturday Night Dead jokes are so passé. Instead, Castle has moved on to “Dead from New York,” a nice little play on Saturday Night Live‘s “Live from New York, it’s Saturday night!” opening salvo. A Lorne Michaels-esque figure gets himself murdered, so Castle and Beckett go behind the scenes at his sketch comedy show Saturday Night Tonight and solve the murder while listening to musical guest Carly Rae Jepsen perform.
