Kidnapping’s All the Rage on a New ‘Another Period’

On Another Period, the summer’s boundary-pushing comedy that’s Downton Abbey meets Keeping Up with the Kardashians, it can be difficult to decipher which of the terrible characters is the most terrible. Executive producer Jeremy Konner said as much himself, telling us before the premiere, “They’re some of the worst people ever.”

Yet Natasha Leggero’s bratty, entitled Lillian Schmemmerhorn-Fish may just be the worst of all. Case in point: in an exclusive clip from this week’s new episode, Lillian whips up a plan for Hamish (Brett Gelman) to kidnap her so that she can gain the type of fame “that’s all the rage right now.” Naturally, she’ll also make sure to throw in a few jabs as she pays Hamish off.

The new episode of Another Period airs Tuesday at 10:30/9:30c.
