First Look: Betty White as the Newest ‘Bones’ Squintern (PHOTO)

America’s most beloved nonagenarian a Squintern? Not exactly.
Betty White (far right, with Tamara Taylor and Emily Deschanel) guests as preeminent forensic anthropologist Dr. Beth Mayer on the October 22 episode of the Fox drama. “She plays a version of herself,” says executive producer Michael Peterson. “[Beth] is this font of knowledge who never stops working.”
Although White enjoyed the role, she says,“I am very glad that my day job doesn’t involve measuring how bones disintegrate after being buried. I prefer living things—preferably with a leg on each corner!”
