Couldn’t score tickets to the hottest tour this winter? Never fear, The CW is once again bringing “The Jingle Ball” right to your living room. The network was on hand to tape the sold-out Z100 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball at Madison Square Garden last Friday, and it will be airing as a 90-minute special Thursday, Dec. 17 at 8/7c.

“Because pop music is always changing, the lineup is always fresh and new,” says Tom Poleman, executive producer of the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour. “We always invite the artists that are having the biggest year in music.”

This year, that means quite the list of performers, including: The Weeknd, Calvin Harris, Selena Gomez, 5 Seconds of Summer, Demi Lovato, Nick Jonas, Fifth Harmony, Shawn Mendes, Fetty Wap and more.

The goal for this year’s concert was to cull as much star power as possible. “It’s all familiar songs you will hear,” says Poleman. “It’s like seeing a greatest hits album for the year.”

And if that weren’t exciting enough, TV viewers will even get a little something that the folks at MSG didn’t. Reveals Poleman, “Every year, you see a friendship develop with all the performers that comes to life in the backstage moments that we capture for fans.”
