CBS Renews ‘Salvation’ for Season 2
There’s more Salvation coming next summer on CBS.
The series, which premiered in July, focuses on an asteroid that is just months away from colliding with Earth and the team working together to divert the asteroid as well as impending nuclear war. On Wednesday, CBS gave a second season renewal for 13 more episodes to the serialized drama that will air in the summer of 2018.
The series stars Santiago Cabrera, Jennifer Finnigan, Charlie Rowe, Jacqueline Byers, Rachel Drance and Ian Anthony Dale, who will be pulling double duty along with his expanded role on the current season of CBS’s long-running crime drama, Hawaii Five-0.
Liz Kruger, Craig Shapiro, Alex Kurtzman, Heather Kadin, Stuart Gillard and Peter Lenkov are executive producers for CBS Television Studios in association with Secret Hideout.
