‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Teresa Giudice Gets Twitter Love After Being Released From Prison
She’s home for the holidays.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice was released from prison early Wednesday morning. The reality star left Danbury, Connecticut’s Federal Correctional Institution at 5:01 a.m. on Dec. 23, less than 48 hours until Christmas. The former inmate’s lawyer drove her back the house, where she will be under home confinement through Feb. 5. Welcoming Giudice back was her family, Christmas decorations and a new black Lexus SUV with a red bow.
Giudice, best known for flipping a table on the show’s first season, was found guilty of fraud charges in October 2014 and was sentenced to jail for 15 months. She entered the prison—the same one depicted in Orange Is the New Black—on Jan. 5 of this year. As for Giudice’s husband, Joe, he’ll begin a 41-month sentence in March.
Several Bravo stars offered their support on Twitter for Giudice, including the big man himself, Andy Cohen.
