‘House of Lies’ Season 5 Finale Will Be Filmed in Cuba
Drama will surely be brewing in the Caribbean when Marty Kaan (Don Cheadle, who also serves as executive producer) and his team, called the Pod—Jeannie (Kristen Bell), Clyde (Ben Schwartz) and Doug (Josh Lawson)—head to Havana for one episode of House of Lies. This is the first time that a scripted American series will be filmed in the country since the U.S. and Cuba reestablished diplomatic relations last year.

Speaking about the episode, which will be the Season 5 finale, Cheadle shared, “Marty and the Pod have traveled the world to land clients. But this historic trip to Cuba is definitely Kaan & Associates’ biggest and wildest adventure yet. It’s sure to be one for the record books, for both our characters and for our cast and crew.”
Season 5 will be airing again this year, and will include guest stars Wanda Sykes (Curb Your Enthusiasm) as a love interest for Jeremiah (Glynn Turman), plus Keegan-Michael Key (Key & Peele) as the CEO of a hair care brand. There will also be a mini Veronica Mars reunion when Ken Marino (who played Vinnie Van Lowe) also pops up as a potential love interest for Jeannie (Kristen Bell). John Cho (Selfie), Donald Faison (Scrubs), Malcolm-Jamal Warner (The Cosby Show) and Nicky Whelan (Satisfaction) will also appear.
House of Lies will return later this year.
