AMC Sets ‘Fear the Walking Dead’ Season 2 Premiere and ‘Talking Dead’ Return
The zombie apocalypse is alive and well on AMC.
The second season of The Walking Dead companion series Fear the Walking Dead will premiere on Sunday, April 10 at 9/8c, the cable network announced on Friday at the Television Critics Association Press Tour in Pasadena, Calif.
The 15-episode second season will be split into two parts, with the first seven episodes airing in spring and the remaining eight airing later in 2016.
Additionally, the Chris Hardwick-hosted post-show Talking Dead will now follow Fear the Walking Dead weekly at 10/9c.
Season 2 picks up immediately following the events of last year’s finale, with Madison (Kim Dickens), Travis (Cliff Curtis) and their family preparing to escape Los Angeles aboard Strand’s (Colman Domingo) luxury yacht. Production began last month at Baja Studios in Mexico.
Beginning January 26, Fear the Walking Dead‘s entire first season will be available to stream exclusively on Hulu.
