ABC Orders Additional Episodes of ‘Grey’s,’ ‘black-ish’ and ‘American Housewife’

ABC has ordered more episodes of three of its most popular shows: Grey’s Anatomy, black-ish, and American Housewife.

Grey’s, which is currently in its 14th season and fast approaching its 300th episode, will get two extra episodes, as will the two comedies, making everyone’s season 24 episodes long.

The medical drama is still one of the network’s most-viewed shows. Last Thursday, the latest episode of Grey’s drew in an audience of 7.6 million. black-ish, currently in its fourth season, is one of ABC’s standout hits, with two Emmy nominations for Outstanding Comedy Series, NCAAP Award wins, and a Golden Globe for Tracee Ellis Ross. American Housewife is in its second season and performs well, with 4.7 million viewers watching last Wednesday night.
