Meghan Markle’s ‘Suits’ Costars React to Her Royal Engagement
The news of Meghan Markle’s engagement to Prince Harry has spread far and wide, making everyone believe again that true love knows no boundaries. The American actress and the British Royal have been receiving congratulations from his family, her family, and fans, but the most heartwarming messages have come from Markle’s former Suits co-stars.
Yes, former. Markle announced during her first interview since the engagement news broke that she’s retiring from acting.
“I think what’s been so exciting [transitioning] out of my career and into, as you said, the causes I can focus even more energy on, very early out of the gate, [is that you] have a voice that people listen to, a lot of responsibility,” she said to the BBC.
Patrick J. Adams, who has played Markle’s on-screen love interest and partner for the past seven seasons of the show, cracked the best joke. He tweeted:
She said she was just going out to get some milk… https://t.co/y7cnM0eC9D

Playing Meghan’s television partner for the better part of a decade uniquely qualifies me to say this: Your Royal Highness, you are a lucky man and I know your long life together will be joyful, productive and hilarious. Meghan, so happy for you, friend. Much love.
